Jan 2010

As a family of 5, We enjoy our Motorhome holiday's.A few years ago we decided to go to france and found out about a scheme in france called France Passion, and for around 19 Euro you can join for the year. You recieve a book, which we call our Bible! In the book you will find the addresses of 1300 Winegrowers, Farmers, and Craftsmen in france all offering you a private invitation onto their properties. You can stay free of charge for upto 24 hours per visit, but are reserved for only Passion Members travelling in a self sufficient camping car (Water, sanitation, refuse etc.) and you must have your passion sticker in the window.

All they ask in return is to sample there produce & hopefully buy some.We have enjoyed many great bottles of wine, cider, Apple juice and much more. The photo at the top left shows the Passion sign.

France Passion Web Page

This is a photo from a Passion site in the Loire on a vineyard in Dampierre 49400 (p275 Jean Luc & Jean Albert Mary)

This Photo was taken by The Watkins Family who hired a 656 Motorhome from Saxon's in August 2009.

The family had a great 2 weeks travaling around france staying at Passion sites, Aires & camp sites.

This is a photo of our new addition to our fleet. It is a Carioca with a rear fixed bed low line, great for a couple, but does sleeps upto 4 people. It was taken at Oldbury Hill which is a Camping & Caravanning club site in Seal, Sevenoaks, Kent.

Mr & Mrs Lavender said about this site   "A wood, down a track and wonderfully quiet! Can recommend!"

Not a good photo of the site, but a nice one of our Motorhome!

This is a campsite Mr & Mrs Minta went to at the Isle of Skye in May 2010. "Another Club site on the edge of Loch Grenhornish. Very well maintained with new facilities block. Not a huge number of hard standings. Quite isolated on a working farm."

Mr & Mrs Minta also went to Glen Nevis "This site was Glen Nevis Caravan & Camping Park. It is large but divided into smaller areas. The facilities are excellent and

there is a restaurant & bar, plus coffee shop on the edge of the site. A good shop on site. Glenn Nevis runs below Ben Nevis & the site is a couple of miles outside Fort William. Fort William offers everything. just about, including supermarkets etc. There is plenty of walking, both up and along the Glenn to a gorge as well as a climb up Ben Nevis, straight from the park. The West highland Way long distance path finishes/starts at the

visitors centre, close by".

" We also stayed at a small independent site just outside Chester. It was on a working farm but within walking distance to the bus stop for Chester. We took the motorhome for a day in North Wales".

This photo show's our 4/5/6 berth Carioca Motorhome with bike's on the back, on the move.
